I know that door knobs are not very exciting. But we all use them every day.  These darn things are on every door you pass thru.
We do our best to only buy better quality at the best price possible.  Because if you buy the cheapest mobile home door knobs, they are terrible.
Below I will go thru 3 of the best door knobs especially for Mobile Home Doors.  We have tried regular house door knobs, but a lot of times they don't fit because of the difference in thickness of the doors.

We like them because we also use interior door knobs that are silver/nickle color.  And best of all these seem to last the longest.  The front door gets the most use and these really hold up to normal use.

3rd best in my opinion are ones from Legend.  The are really good quality, but its the price that drives us back to our main choice.  I have been able to find these in sets like we like to buy.  Having them keyed alike is really helpful.

MOBILE HOME EXTERIOR DOOR KNOBS

Mobile home door knobs are different than standard house door knobs.  Mostly because mobile home doors are different thickness's than standard house doors.  We know because we tried regular door knobs from Home Depot and Lowes and they did not fit.  We use these because they fit mostly, but also because they look very nice.  We always buy a double set because we want both the front door and the back door keys to match.

MOBILE HOME INTERIOR DOOR HINGES

Mobile home door hinges are VERY specific to mobile home interior doors.  These doors are thinner and require special mobile home interior door hinges just like these.  We have had these hinges never needed to be replaced.  But when someone gets rough with the door, they can bend.  This makes the door very hard to close properly.  These come in a 3 pack, because mobile home interior doors have 3 hinges.  They are very very easy to replace and install.

MOBILE HOME EXTERIOR WINDOWS

Mobile home exterior windows are some of the easiest windows to remove and replace.  If you have ever seen a race car gets it tires removed and replaced in just a few seconds.  Its kinda like that.  You just need a drill with a head to remove the screws, pull the window off.  Then put up some window puddy around the window where it fits against the window.  Put the window in place and put all the screws back in.  BOOM your done.  Wait until the next day then spray around the window with a water hose to make sure you have a good tight seal and no water leaks in.

We have found these are the most 3 items directly specific to mobile homes that we have dealt with.  Of course with a mobile homes also called manufactured homes there are many ways to repair them.  We just find using mobile home specific items to be the best and longest lasting solution.
